Haian Arsheed is a musician, composer, and sound artist based in the Netherlands. He studied viola in Damascus before continuing his studies in Beirut and later completing a Master’s degree in Live Electronics at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. His work combines electronic music, live performance, and audiovisual art, while coordinating the artistic production and development of House of Alpha.
He plays traditional Arabic and world music on electric violin, oud, and theremin. Through live electronics, he composes for theatre, film, and live performance, and specializes in audiovisual work combining paintings, live projections, and electroacoustic sound.
